ABOUT
DCP CONNECTS is a performance company comprised of young artists who demonstrate exemplary understanding, commitment and passion for dance.
DCP CONNECTS strives to propagate the growth of concert dance as a medium for community engagement, outreach, personal development and performance. We believe the dance arts provide the opportunity to connect and deepen our understanding of ourselves and others.
As a member of DCP CONNECTS, dancers are expected to dedicate themselves to its mission in addition to rehearsals, performances and required class study. All company members are required a minimum study of three ballet classes as well as a modern and jazz technique class.
DCP CONNECTS at WDW!
CONNECTS artists have produced performance events, have had opportunities to create their own work, performed for a senior home, worked with guest teachers, participated in Winter Ballet Festival, performed at local Venues, and performed at Walt Disney World. The picture above was taken during a private master class. They were extremely surprised when Goofy showed up!
