ABOUT
DCP CONNECTS is a performance company comprised of young artists who demonstrate exemplary understanding, commitment and passion for dance.
DCP CONNECTS strives to propagate the growth of concert dance as a medium for community engagement, outreach, personal development and performance. We believe the dance arts provide the opportunity to connect and deepen our understanding of ourselves and others.
As a member of DCP CONNECTS, dancers are expected to dedicate themselves to its mission in addition to rehearsals, performances and required class study. All company members are required a minimum study of two ballet classes as well as a modern and jazz technique class.
DCP CONNECTS at WDW!
CONNECTS artists have produced performance events, have had opportunities to create their own work, performed for a senior home, worked with guest teachers, participated in Winter Ballet Festival, performed at local Venues, performed at Walt Disney World and have been to NYC to watch performances, take classes at Steps & BDC. The picture above was taken during a private master class. They were extremely surprised when Goofy showed up!
